In 1995, Randy Shepard and Eric Price developed an Internet site for Flagstaff residents to use to access local information. The Flagstaff Link's parent company, High Country Systems, had been working in Flagstaff for nine years, offering hardware, software, networking, and repair service, setup, and support. While working in homes and businesses around Flagstaff, we realized that providing a site wasn't enough: we needed to offer Internet access to our clients as well. The Flagstaff Link was born.

In 1998, it became apparent that there was still no good centralized location for Flagstaff residents to get information online and do online shopping. As this was the origin of the Flagstaff Link site, we set out to achive this goal. With a stong media campaign and accompanying personal contacts we are building "Flagstaff's source for information and online shopping".

The Flagstaff Link was developed to provide Flagstaff residents access to local information. It is our goal through dial-up, and future Internet access technologies, to become "Flagstaff's source for information and online shopping". In pursuit of our mission, we pledge to provide top-quality Web presence and Internet access at a price anyone can afford.
